I HAVE 2 89 IROCS BOTH WITH 350s,I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM.TURNS OUT THE MOTOR GETS VERY HOT AND HEATS UP THE STARTER,WICH THEN SHUTS OFF THE ENGINE.THE FIX?BUY A HIGH PERFOMANCE STARTER FOR ABOUT 200$ OR BUY A 40$ BLANKIT AND WRAP THE STARTER TO PROTECT IT FROM HEAT.I DID ONE ON EACH ONE FIXED!
mine did the same thing i replaced the crank sensor and it runs fine
because it is french
it mayby a plugged fuel filter ,,,,, or the ignition module
it sounds like the throttle positioning sensor is messed up. try replacing it
10w-30 will work fine.
In general I suspect an electronic ignition component, I've seen this with a crank position sensor, ign. amplifier, and a circuit board that when it got hot it would warp flexing and creating an open in the printed circuit.
10w-30 will work fine.
i just got a fine just 30mins ago and its $350au and three points taken off, its the worst thing ever, and all i was doing was taking my mate home, dnt risk it
Does it crank over fine?
You need to BClear. Are you asking if the battery is fine, or it won't crank, but you know the battery is fine?
try replacing your fuel filter
Do you mean no crank/no start or crank/no start.... to put it simply, does the engine turn over?
