Pull the valance off the bottom of the wind shield.
with hood open=Front left side of engine. I allways take my air intake tube off to allow more access.
I bought a set of GMC shop manuals off ebay for $40. It comes with the fuel system book, wiring diagrams, light duty trucks and vandura and rally book. They have saved me on a lot of labor $$$ having them.
take doghouse off, remove air-cleaner lid and look down into carburetori if you see a pair of injectors with electric wires going to them, its EFI
Begin by removing the tire and wheel from your 1993 GMC. Remove the brake spring and the brake caliper. The brake shoes will come off. Reverse the process to install your new brake shoes.
take off the bolts attaching the bed to the frame
There's a fill tube easily located under the hood, its about 1-1/2" in diameter and has a rubber cap which just pulls off.
mine is located straight down from the brake booster.....follow the brake lines coming off the master cylinder....should lead you right to the valve you are looking for
You may need to check the wiring in the system and replace the circuit that runs the wipers. You may also want to replace the arms and blades.
you can take the gas tank off to change it, or take the bed off to do it.
crack in the electronic coil ,when it gets hot it will expand and ark and kill the engine
there is one or two speed sensors on side of transmission to tell it when to shift. They are magnetic. When they get covered in metal shavings, they quit functioning. Pull them out, wipe off the metal shavings with a soft lint-free rag, and re-install them. This may fix your problem. It worked for me, when mine was stuck in first gear....... Good Luck :)
