sounds like it could be the timing when it's under a load.
From as low as 100:1 at idle to near 15:1 under load. From as low as 100:1 at idle to near 15:1 under load.
Yes it would
32---35 psi idle +8psi under load
What is the reading direct from the battery with a volt meter when this happens. It should be over 12 volts.Engine at idle, in drive, with the normal load, yes, will have reduced volts until the engine turns faster.
No, a bad EGR valve would cause pinging at driving speeds or stalling at idle. Have you checked the distributor cap? Fuel filter?
If you had an EGR problem, the car would be stalling at idle or it be pinging at speed. Check the spark plugs, spark plug wires or distributor cap. The car sounds like it's misfiring. It will idle fine, but under load the problem shows up.
should run at about 22 psi at idle and 35 to 42 under a load
outboard motor will start and idle, but dies out under load
Vacuum leak; there is a slight load on the engine when stopped at a light because you are in gear, there is none when in park.

A 350 engine will idle good but cut out and run rough while driving if there is a vacuum leak. This causes too much air to enter the engine under load.
