Having same issue on my 93 Camry - got diagnostic, replaced distributor had same problem, another diagnostic, replaced ignitor, having same problem, dies while driving. Any new ideas?
We are having the same issue too with our 1994 Camry, 6 clyinder. A mechanic has changed the fuel pump, mass air sensor. Then he thought maybe the ignitor. So I bought one on EBAy (i know risky) since we are getting in deep on this issue. Anyway the ignitor did not fix it either. From what I see here on the internet I'm going to check out the fuel pressure regulator. They say to check the vacuum hose that comes off the top of the regulator. If the hose has gas in it then the regulator is bad. That is the next thing I'm going to check. I will let you know what I find and please let me know if you get any results.
the problem with your truck is either the battery does not have enough cranking amps, or the starter is beginning to wear out. first time i ever had this problem i put a higher cranking rated battery in and that solved the problem
polo 1.2 is cranking but no fire
It is on because the computer has detected a problem with the emissions system. Take it to a trusted mechanic for a scan and diagnostic of the problem.
Reading diagnostic codes is easy. The driver plugs the reader/scanner into the diagnostic port of the vehicle, and the scanner/reader will give a code if there is a problem, and tell them the type of problem.
When cranking, the ballast resistor is bypassed to give a hotter spark. If during cranking you do not have power at the coil, but when the key is turned to run you do; there is a problem with the bypass circuit (sometimes it comes from the starter motor solenoid wire)
It's costing me $150 (their standard price for the first 30 minutes) for the company to come out and diagnose the problem. For the ignitor itself, they're charging me $98. I didn't price-shop so I'm not sure if this is reasonable or.

The mechanic ran every diagnostic test, but still could not locate the source of the problem.
Diagnostic arthroscopic surgery is not recommended unless non-surgical treatment does not fix the problem.
O2S problem
A computer diagnostic test will show a timing belt problem for a 1999 Mazda 626. If there is a problem with the belt, diagnostics will determine if it needs to be repaired or replaced.
Diagnostic output is any output which is generated in response to an error in the program and which will help find and fix the problem.
