Problem solved: Bought a used heater control, installed it in minutes, and all is well.
The most conclusive test of a blower motor is to run a wire from the battery directly to the motor, being careful not to ground the wire out anywhere by accident. If the motor will not run when wired directly to the battery, it is probably bad.
pos (red ) should got straight to the battery or fuse box .ground should be conected to the frame of car or metal ,never the battery for the ground side
You can test your heater blower motor by connecting a ground wire to the ground. Connect a power wire, from the battery to the positive post. If the blower motor turns it is working, and if it does not it is bad.
You can check the blower motor by unplugging the wire harness and connecting a jumper wire directly from the battery positive terminal to the blower motor. Be very careful to avoid touching the jumper wire to ground to avoid arcing. If the blower motor runs then there may be a blown fuse, bad resistor pack, wiring issues or bad switch.
Use a jumper wire from the battery + (pos) terminal to the positive on the blower motor, and run a - (Ground) wire from ground on the motor, to chassis or frame.
You get a short circuit.
From the battery to frame directly under the battery box. From the frame to the engine at the motor mounts with a short ground cable. Usually on the drivers side.
Disconnect battery ground cable. Disconnect blower motor electrical connections. Remove blower motor attaching screws, then blower motor. On models with A/C it may be necessary to dismount alternator and move away from module. Reverse procedure to install.
inside the cap where the coil is it has a ground wire that is conected to the plug and the coil body if is not properly conected it may cause to bur the module often.
To get a positive you can go straight from the battery or the fuse box. To ground the CB you should ground it to the body being sure you have a connection to bare metal. A better way is to run a cable, along withe the positive side, directly to the battery. If you run power or ground to the fuse box and a short occurs, you may knock out important systems on the vehicle. Best go directly to the battery, with in-line fuses on both sides of the line.
Disconnect the battery. Remove the glove box to instrument panel screws. Disconnect the power and ground wires from the blower.. Remove the recirculating door actuator, the seven screws and then remove the complete recirculating housing.. Remove the three blower motor attaching screws.. Remove the blower motor...
To change out the blower motor in this car disconnect the battery ground and then carefully remove the long plastic cover that is mounted in the engine compartment at the top of the firewall. The blower motor is easily accessed as is the resistor board below it for the lower fan speed selections.
