the correct alighnment is at TDC marked on crankshaft pulley = groove in tail end of both cam,s vertical with the pulley dowels uppermost on both cam,s = no 1 lead on distributer firing. cam pulleys are universal inlet cam should use the I and respectivly the exaust will use EX to identify location of dowel locating slot used
