It is a non serviceable part of the distributor. The distributor will need replaced if the cam sensor has failed.
map sensor is located on the upper intake on the passenger side near the back.
Check the crank sensor. I had a 98 cirrus that wouldn't start and that was the problem
Try the crank sensor/cam sensor. It will ack like it is out of gas when it acts up, may start fine then suddenly it will ack like it is out of gas.
Moisture is getting into the distributor cap. It evaporates when it gets warm out. Replace it.
