95 Colorado and when you try to put it in 4 wheel drive the light on the dash board just blinks and it will not go in 4 wheel drive?

If you are trying to put it in 4 low you have to be in neutral and sometimes it is best be be moving slightly.if your going to 4HI than you shouldn't have any issues because it is on the fly meaning you just push the button at any speed and it will engage for you.
