you might have a wiring problem i would look under the dash on both sides & check for striped wiring or if there is some type of an universal alarm system then check all the wiring and remove the system. if u do make sure all the wiring is taped and put back with the same color.
if your radio works and not the CD player, and its all one unit, then you probably don't have a wiring problem, the problem exists in the unit itself
The speakers are powered by the stereo, which in turn the stereo has a fuse. If the stereo works (turns on), but not the speakers, then it may be a wiring issue.

make sure the speakers werent stolen first off then try new wires from the stereo to a speaker that you are sure works. if that speaker doesnt work take your stereo back
