Go to hasport .com and look up in the information col. they have listing of all kinds of motor swap combinations listed. Year car what motor what motor mounts needed shift linkage axels harness changes etc. etc. its pretty easy once you find the site.
it's basically like a H22 swap. You use H22 mounts, adapt civic wire harness to the f22, f22 half shaft, 90-93 intgra axles or you could use h22 half shaft and axles but you have to use one or the other.
yes because you can swap a h23 transmission onto an h22 engine
the most powerful stock engine to ever come stock in a civic was probably the civic type r engine, but that was only available in the European market. however, many people swap in ITR motors, H22's, and JDM SiR motors for more power.

yes an h22 trany will bolt up to an f22 but you half to watch the years cuz i think that the tranys changed so sertin years wont bolt together. so just be aware of the years get the right one and they will bolt up
make sure that all of the dizzy wireing is correct for the internal coil.
not without alot of work! go with a b series!
It varies as there are several variants of the H22, with different power outputs. The range is between 185-220 horsepower in stock form. There was a drag racing variant of the H22 (in Stephan Papadakis' Honda Civic hatchback) which produced 650 horsepower, and ran a sub-8 second quarter-mile.

i have no diea what you mean i need to know the series of the engine that's in the car and i can help you from there
Yeah, don't bother with the F22A1, it's a lousy engine. The H series heads will bolt directly on however, regardless of if it's DOHC or SOHC. Look up G23, it's a combination of a F23A1 block and a H22 VTEC head. It makes the same power as a K series at 1/3 the price dont even bother just put a b series in it and its a direct mount just change the motor mounts. did it on my civic defentaly worth it
There are two types of tensioners for the prelude if you have an H23 (non vtec) then it is manual, if it is an H22 (vtech) then it is auto tensioner. due to failures with the auto tensioner it is highly recommended to swap over to a manual tensioner if you have an H22. As for the answer to the question, go to Preludepower.com or search the web for the repair manual to download, it is free and legal. Hope this helps.
