it could be the starter. Mine did the same thing and i changed the starter and it works good now. When mine would be hot it would not start but it would start right up when it was cold.
i would say you have an injector problem. usually a cloged one can cause that.
Could be the starter relay.
It could be the starter solenoid
try turning the key to the on position 3 timesbefore you crank it if it starts right up fuel pressure is bleeding off when you shut the car down it could be the fuel pump or injectors most likely fuel pump just cycle the key it doesn't relay hurt any thing i did it in mine for 2 years and never failed
both keys have chip for security , 1 is bad
Hi Rod, I'm taking a shot in the dark here but it might be your coil. They can have you pulling your hair out. Sometimes they can shut down when they get warm and work again when they cool down.
On a lot of fords the emergency flasher relay flasher is located under the dash to the right of the steering column and sometimes they are far into the dash in that area.
you dont make sense
Check the fuel pump relay.
i have a 2001 Chevy lumina and i am wondering if the ECM is going out, sometimes it will die when i am driving but starts right back up, sometimes it will die and not start up after several hours of sitting, then it starts up. Could this be the ECM?
Replace the engine coolant temp sensor.
Fuel injectors may be leaking causing a flooding problem?
