My wipers come on when the turn signal is used - Ford recommends replacing a revised mulifunction switch (turn signal switch)
Aircraft have wipers for many reasons, such as: take off and landing in rainy/snowy conditions, as well as ground operations like taxing and parking at the gate. Pilots has to be able to have a clear view of whats ahead of them.
Check your owners manual. If you don't have one copy & paste this link. http://www.genuineservice.com/genuineservice/en/gloveboxresults
obviously the motor for the wipers is still working because when you push down on the wipers they work sometimes.Probably whats wrong is the accuator arm is loose. This is located under the plastic panel on the drivers side just after the ending of your windshield.(YOUR HOODS GOTTA BE UP TO GET TO IT).Pop it off (may have some screws may not, that hold it down).Turn on your wipers it should be easy to see whats loose/wrong.The "stud"That attaches the accuator has flat spots on two sides tha lock it on in place when the nuts tightened. So if it loosens up the wipers work intermittenly.Good luck
Taurus
Personal choice Taurus is a 6 cylinder Cavalier normally is a 4 cylinder
Whats the valve clerance on a 98 taurus?
mine does the same thing. no clue!
If youre changing over a Taurus and its not an SHO then you will have to swap out the entire engine. SHOs were the only ones offered with stick and the manual transmission will not bolt up to a regular Taurus's engine.
I hope you checked the fuses first.
