try checking the IAC motor. if it stalls at idle then it could be that. or the egr valve. one of the two have to be contributing to the problem

I have not changed one with a super charger before but regular stock models can be effectively changed in 3-4 hours by an experienced mechanic. This is probably not a job for someone without mechanical skills but still somewhat a pain in the butt.
