A 2002 dodge ram 1500 that seems to have water in the oil but no loss of power no white smoke drives smothly the oil cap has white gunk on it Its been 2 mos truck shows no signs at all?

If it is a 4.7L it is normal for the oil cap to have slime in it. Other wise check/replace the pcv valve and crankcase filter.

What evidence do you have that compression is dropping? It seems more like a general loss of power such as might be caused by a partially blocked fuel filter. well there is a tramendous power loss. it almost stalls out, but then i gains back the power and it does it over and over again. it seems like missfires keep occuring.

This engine is computer controlled. The computer can decide to not give you any power, usually because the computer does not know you are stepping on the fuel. Have the car scanned and repaired.

Acura MDX or Honda Pilot which is better?
Definitely the MDX. While they are both similar in appearance, the Pilot drives like a minivan and the MDX drives more like a sports/crossover. Better handling, better power, more roomy in the first two rows of seats, and way more leg room in the front seat. Also, the MDX seems to get better gas mileage too.
