This engine is computer controlled.
The computer can decide to not give you any power, usually because the computer does not know you are stepping on the fuel.
Have the car scanned and repaired.
If I remember it correctly. YOU TURN THE KEY TO ''"ON"" POSITION. THEN DEPRESS THE DIESEL PEDAL 3 TIMES. (aka=the gas pedal) AND THAT SHOULD DO IT.
You replace it, I have never heard of repairing them
Throttle position sensor.
the brake light switch is on a bracket just above the brake pedal.
The 1997 Dodge Ram OBD 2 port is under driver side dash next above accelerator pedal
Trouble code P0121 means:Throttle/pedal position sensor/switch A circuit range/performance problem
It is part of the assembly on the engine that the throttle cables attach to. It is also called an APPS, accelerator pedal position sensor.
my book says code 0123 THROTTLE/PEDAL POSITION SENSOR/SWITCH A CIRCUIT HIGH INPUT
APPS.... Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor. Its the same thing as a TPS, throttle positioning sensor.
It is on the part under the hood that the cables hook to. It is called an APPS: accelerator pedal position sensor.
On a diesel, the TPS or APPS (accel pedal position sensor) is part of the accelerator pedal. On a Hemi, the TPS is a non-servicable part of the throttle body. The APPS is still part of the pedal. On a diesel, the TPS or APPS (accel pedal position sensor) is part of the accelerator pedal. On a Hemi, the TPS is a non-servicable part of the throttle body. 1998.5-2003 it is on the part under the hood where the throttle cablesd attach. 2004 it is under the driver side battery box 2005-2013 it is part of the accel pedal itself.
