The usual answer is "comets," although in a technical sense, the bodies aren't comets while they're still in the Oort Cloud, but only become so when they fall toward the Sun. The word "comet" means "hairy" and refers to the dust blown off the body by the solar wind. While still in the Oort Cloud, they should really be called "planetismals."

A comet, probably, depending on its orbit. If the orbit is highly elliptical and the body comes close enough to the Sun to vaporize some of the ice into a gassy halo, then it would be a comet.

A similar object in a more circular orbit that keeps it far away from the Sun might be called an asteroid, or (if far enough out from the Sun) a Kuiper Belt Object.

You could be describing a comet.

'Large' is what I call a rubber word ... one that means different things

to different people all the time, and may mean different things to the

same person at different times or in different circumstances. A comet

is smaller than a planet or a star, but larger than a breadbox or a house.

Also, by the way, comets don't all necessarily orbit the sun.

That sounds like the popular description of a comet,

although not all comets necessarily orbit the sun.
