There are many exercises that you can do to build up your chest. If you are new to lifting weights, I would suggest sticking with the basic compound movements. This would primarily be the barbell bench press. You can do flat, inclined, and declined bench presses. You can also do dumbell chest presses, pushups, dumbell flies, etc.
lots of reps. of push ups everyday, chest press machine, or bench press would work too..... for push ups at least 20-30 (or more, depends how many you can do) of them everyday and then increase the number when you feel comfortable..... chest press and bench press are up to you when determining the weight and reps.

Bodyweight? I can think of only the press up. There will be many variations, but the only chest exercise using your own bodyweight is the press/push up. A press up uses exactly the same muscles you would use benching, and so is the perfect exercise to use if you can't bench for a while or want to work your chest at home etc.
