how many oxygen sensors are on a 1997 Mazda mpv lx
Have your Mazda dealer parts department print out a picture of the relays location for you. They will do this if you ask them.
there are two oxygen sensors. One is located in the exhaust manifold inside the engine compartment. If you have a 4 cyl model it will be where the 4 pipes merge in to 1. The second sensor is located after the catalytic converter.
what sensors? there are about 100 different kinds..
On the 98 Mazda 626 there are two oxygen sensors, one is located at the front bottom of engine on the drivers side. If I remember correctly it requires a 23mm wrench to remove. The other sensor is located under the bottom on the exhaust pipe just behind the cat. converter. I hope this will lead you in the right direction and good luck.
The Oxygen sensor is located on the manifold pipe.
I have the Haynes 1983-91 for my Mazda '91, and that shows the belts, so the Haynes for 93-01 may help
Most knock sensors are located in the block on the firewall side. Should be the only sensor with two wires in the block. It will also have a camshaft position sensor as well. Hope that helps. I am not educated on Mazda engines.
You will need to explain your problem. The transmission has it's own computer and sensors. Without knowing your situation it will be hard to diagnosis.
All O2 sensors are screwed into the exhaust system. Start at the exhaust manifold and work your way back toward the rear of the car and you will find all the O2 sensors.
