Check the battery, cables, starter Check the main fuse.
You can reset the ABS light in a 2000 Mazda 626 by unplugging the battery cables. You can also reset it by connecting a diagnostic tool to your car.
Check battery Check battery cables for corrosion or looseness Check fusable link
No picture, sorry, one is in the Exhaust manifold, and the other is downstream in the Catalytic converter.
Loose alternator drive belt or loose or corroded battery cables. The battery itself may also be bad.
the negative cable is the one tha go to the chassy or the engine . And the positive go to the fuse box.
Same way you change a battery in 90% of all cars. Open the hood, undo the battery cables and just take the battery out, put new battery in and re-attach cables. Super easy to do, any male that has a car should know how to do this so just ask any guy you know to help you. ( I can tell from this question that your a female)
i think my voltage regulater's stuck, the alternader tests as ok, but the battery goes dead if i dont diconnect the cables. i even tried a new battery.
Probably starter solenoid switch
Its likely either the battery connections (terminals) are dirty, or where they connect is...or the battery while showing a charge is bad when on a load. If it starts with a jump from another car...it's the battery.
Disconnect the battery, remove the intake manifold, remove the spark plug boot covers and cables, and remove the old spark plugs. Put in the new spark plugs, attach the spark plug boot covers and cables, replace the intake manifold and connect the battery.
