Assuming they came on at the same time, scan the ABS computer for codes to help narrow the focus.
There are several causes for ABS light to come on the 99 Sunfire. This may be due to worn or leaking master cylinder, contamination of brake fluid, or leaking brake hose.

In my case, the brake (RED), ABS (Yellow) and Traction Control (Yellow) lights are on. The garage chescked it out and the brakes are perfect. Only one of the brake light (back) was burnt.... The User's guide says to stop driving and get the car towed it the "brake indicator" (RED) is on. Paying a towing for a burnt light does not quite make sense, does it?

If only the red brake light is coming on, the parking brake is on or the brake fluid is low. If the yellow abs light is also on, the abs computer has detected a malfunction and set a code.
