When it is already discussed that God Rama made a bridge for transportation from India to Sri Lanka in the epic the Ramayana why the bridge is named and called as Adams bridge?
Answer . man.. i love to argue about this question.. i wonder why our govt dont do anything for this if it can name Mumbai from Bombay and Chennai from Madras. Adam is said to have discovered that bridge.. i dont know why they name it after discoverer?? and wait a second.. DISCOVERED??? nono…nono.. actually he was the first one to tell the foreing countries that he saw a bridge of this type and was put by his name in the records.. This whole thing can today be transferred to its original name but our govt wont do it till we ask them coz they work on our sayings so that if they do anything or take any step, their " chair " would be in danger!!!..
