What you have to remember is that it is not the amount of food you eat, but the type of food you eat and how much you exercise. Eat sensibly - no fats and sugars - and exercise everyday and you shouldn't put on any weight. Three meals a day is much healthier as your body does not have to "store" the nutrients and fats it has consumed from your one meal so that your body can get through 24 hours.
