sounds like you got air in the pipes. need to push that air out by opening a joint outside and expelling it that way or by reverse pressure using a mixer.
One open, one closed.
Problem is that the heater core is the highest point in the cooling system. being a closed system any air that enters is trapped in the heater core. Result, no heat. Recommended repair is to back flush heater core, refill cooling system making sure all air is released from the heater core. Replacement of the radiator cap at the time of repair is recommended.
You can drain the coolant from the radiator drain plug and just refill it or you can flush out the complete system including the radiator, heater core, heater hoses, block and replace the thermostat and the refill it back up...........
Hewlett packard ink refill cartidge range in price depending of the Printer copier fax machine you are installing it in. They can run from 14 to 40 dollars .
A temporary fix would be to pull both heater hoses and connect them to each other, then don't worry about the heater core leaking. It's summer in the northern hemisphere, and you don't NEED a heater.
drain coolant from radiator, remove one of the frost plugs in engine block, install block heater in place of frost plug, refill radiator with coolant.
No, but if it's leaking coolant, you'll need to ensure you don't lose to much, and refill as needed.
Easiest way that I found was to remove the bottom hose for the radiator, take off the lid for the expansion bottle, make sure the heater controls are open fully, drain the system, flush it, then refill it. Obviously re-attach bottom hose first, then refill, then run for a while with the heater on, and check levels, worked for me, been Ok since.
The toilets refill because water is leaking past the flapper. In your case, you are running some water or turning water off right when the toilets are ready to refill and your action "jiggles" the ballcock to start. The toilets are also refilling at other times but you have not noticed yet. Get them repaired.
Refill is a noun (a refill) and a verb (to refill).
You first have to drain the radiator, then you diconnect the heater hoses to your heater core .in the engine compartment. Then you remove the cover off the heater core assembly under the passenger side , under the glove box. Then you take straps off the heater core off. and replace . Install every thing you removed previously and refill your radiator and your done.
Your heater core may be clogged. Have the heater core flushed and refill the system with fresh coolant.
