  • In Ancient Greece, there were not a lot of fertile river valleys that other early civilizations relied on in Greece, so unusual crops that could be suited to the mountainous region were extremely popular, one example being olive trees. This was not limited to just crops though, as animals like goats who were already adapted to the region were also popular farm animals for most farmers to own.

  • In Ancient Greece, they had a form of the Olympics closely resembling our present-day Olympics.

  • The famous Trojan Horse was made during this period of time, along with the Trojan War.

  • Athens and Sparta are often represented as the staple city-states of Ancient Greece, but the truth is that Athens wasn't nearly as popular as it is presented until it had a battle with another city-state and triumphed. Then, Athens made itself more popular by encorpating gods into their history, such as the tale where Athena and Poseidon battled for their domain, causing their location to seem sacred and deeply desired, thus increasing their popularity.

Hope these help!! :D
