I had the same problem on my Expedition. The heater core needed to be replaced. Cost around 700.00.
heater core is more than likely leaking..
It may have a leaking head gasket. Has the coolant level dropped and needed more antifreeze . If so check it with a pressure tester
Most likely your heater core is leaking.
You have antifreeze leaking from somewhere that is hitting something hot and turning it to steam. When you turn on the AC the fan is pulling it into the vents. Keep track of your engine collant levels and if they are lowering then there is your problem!!
yes
Blown Heater Core - The heater fan blows past the heater core and if it has a hole in it your antifreeze ios being blown onto your windshield.
the heater blows warm air when fan is on low but blows cold air when fan is turn to higher setting
because the heater uses hot coolant/antifreeze to heat your car....the coolant passes thru the heater core, then a fan blows the warm air thru your vents Your heater core is leaking and must be removed and repaired or replaced.
A hurricane is a tropical cyclone that blows in a large spiral around a relatively calm center eye.
checked antifreeze level???
Check antifreeze level, then thermostat next, heater core last
Most likely a cracked intake manifold.
