I have no specific listing for Chicopee Arms. In general, MOST firearms from Chicopee Falls Mass end up being replated to Savage/ J. Stevens. They were based there, absorbed several smaller businesses, and would mark guns as the distributor wanted them marked. Most single shots were utility grade shooters (gun of the working man- farmer, mechanic, store keeper) and do not have a high collectors value. Most are in the $100 range if shootable.
I was looking for the same, and I came upon a site that said it is worth about a $100.00 in most areas, not very appealing to collectors, apparently it was made around 1950, chicopee falls plant closed in 1960, and was made sometime after WWII. sorry no more info on this subject.
What kind of info do you need? please email me at eagle44mag@adelphia.net and I will try to help thanks Rick
Reliable, low cost firearms. Seldom exceed 100 USD in value.
I have a single shot 22 cal. rifle that has J. Stevers Arms & Tool Co. on the top of the barrel. It also has *crack-shot* and B2-SHORT on the barrel. It appears to be made in Chicocee Falls, Mass. (maybe Chicopee Falls, Mass.) Trying to get info about it!
Send the info to Remington Arms via email. They will get back with you in a day or so. There is no published list of mfg dates for Remington.
