Your motor is thermally protected. This means when it does get hot it will shut off instead of burning up.
How old is your pump or motor? If your answer is not very old (1 year or less)
Then did you have it replaced with a larger H.P. unit, because that may be your problem
If you have had the same pump motor for years without problems then it's probably
time to replace it (average life span 6-15 years) depending on maintenance and that it was a quality unit to begin with.
The thing to remember is if you have a 1 H.P. pump motor and you replace it with a 1.5 or even a 2 H.P. you must check that your wiring will be sufficient.
As long as your moving water well then be less concerned with Plumbing.
It could be the fule pump or the wiring harness for the fule pump.
its a safty switch for the fuel pump so it its hit or rolls over it shuts down the fuel system
A new Fuel pump relay fixed this problem for me.
There is none. GM does not install inertia switches on their vehicles.
is there a emergency switch that shuts the fuel pump down
Fuel pump relay.
Could be as simple as a clogged fuel filter.
Only until it overheats.
The cut out relay is used to energize a fuel pump. It then shuts down, until it gets impulses from the spark plugs.
A skimmer weir is the plastic flap and the opening of the skimmer. It traps leaves that are pulled into the skimmer when the pump is running and then holds the leaves in the skimmer whne the pump shuts down
it is probably your water pump
Change your thermostat.
