∙ 8y agoAccording to Semitic tradition, both among the Arabs and the Jews, the Arabs are the descendants of the Biblical character ISHMAEL. However, ethnographically speaking, no ethnic group has a single progenitor and it was likely a group of nomadic families many millenia ago who left the more fertile Upper Middle East (Anatolia, the Levant, and Mesopotamia) to live in Arabia who created the Arab ethnicity.
