The above answer is Wrong. I can get an AK-47 at any cabelas or gun shop that sells those types of weapons. With that said, they are semi auto. Full auto AK's are regulated by the National Firearms Act and the Gun Control Act. You can only get an AK that was made and registered before May of 1986. Anything after, can only be bought by LE, GOV, or a civilian that has the correct FFL to own and/or make one.
