How could anyone say for sure? The obvious answer is no, because the natural phenomenons the myths explain have different causes, but the question is ultimately the same as "Is Catholicism real" or "Is Hinduism real".
They were believed to be real in ancient Greek times and, in that sense, are as "real" as any other god or goddess. There are still people who follow the ancient Greek religions.
Opinion:
They're really ridiculous.
It's a very complicated answer... I guess it all depends on what you believe in. If you believe in God then I guess not cause he created them out of clay or some thing. But if you believe in things like Greek or Roman gods then some are. Like Jason or Heracles ( I believe that's how you spell it ) they've all been written and labled in Fantasy but, if you're like me, then I guess you could say that they do exist. People are just too afraid to admit the truth.
None of them were and are real. They were just made up as a reason to explain things that couldn't be explained. Like how solar eclipses were the work of Apollo god of the sun(among other things) instead of the moon coming in front of the sun.
then again we do not know i believe in God but i also do think that maybe.... just maybe... there is other that help him...... like Mother Earth....... who knows
How can you say for sure They aren't real? They were, and are, just as real to Their worshipers as God is to Christians. It's just another way of viewing the Divine.
In the strictest sense, no, because they are not real. However, in context, yes, you could consider them to be alive. Immortal, surely, but alive.
No demigods did not have dyslexia. Demigods had this 'vison' of English words being translated to Greek words. And this is all Percy Jackson.
The Gods would cease to exist if the demigods did not do most of their work.
A demigod in Greek "mythology" is a person with ONE god parent and ONE mortal parent. Demigods are not only in Greek mythology, in all but one case demigods are half mortal and half god. The only...
Well for one your talking roman, Hera is her Greek name. Hera is a nice person to the gods, but for demigods shes horrible, especially the demigods of her husband, Zeus. She despises all demigods and wants them gone
In Greek mythology, yes.
Any one of the major Greek gods..
Athena was a real greek go, not a demigod. Athena is the goddess of war and wisdom. Demigods are children of the gods. They are half-human and half-god.
Greek demigods are born when a god in Greek form has a child with a mortal. All Greek demigods are fluent in Ancient Greek. Roman demigods are born when a god in Roman form has a child with a mortal. All Roman demigods are fluent in Latin. Thalia Grace is a Greek demigod because Zeus was in his Greek form when he met Ms. Grace. Jason is a Roman demigod because Jupiter was in his Roman form when he met Ms. Grace again after Thalia was born.
They were demigods. Half god, half human.
No there are no greek gods so no half bloods/ demigods!
The real name for the greek hero "Hercules" was Heracles, but when the Romans invaded and took over the adopted the myth and named the hero Hercules. So Hercules is roman, but Heracles is greek.
Yes, I wonder.
