It depends.
Like any race, there are compassionate, wise, spiritual, loving people, and selfish and controlling people.
People in India are both but show it in a different way than, say, white people do in America.
Americans are stereotyped (compared to Europeans) as being selfish, stupid, and lazy. Do you think that's true?
India has three times the amount of people living in one third the land area as America. So, the cities are crowded. The family structure in Indian culture is strong and supportive so that oftentimes many generations share a house. I wouldn't call this selfish.
India does have a harsh lifestyle. I guess independent is a nice word for selfish. And, yes, Indians do believe in individual freedoms and independence. BUT, the good thing about Indian culture compared to white American culture is that each person's individualism is allowed for the most part. Many religions thrive in India. Hinduism, the biggest religion in the country doesn't propagate like major Evangelicalism does. Hinduism and Indian culture is not about forcing religion onto others. Nor is it about pressuring others. There is a degree of individualism, and it is seen as something positive, not something that needs to be oppressed or shunned.
It is a developed counrty. But like any other contries has a lot of troubles. There are areas of spain, like Madrid or Navarra which are more developed than other areas like Extremadura, for exemple. Nowadays it is a huge problem in the country, because some selfish autonomies (provinces in other countries) don't want to pay taxes to the autonomies which are not as developed as the richer ones. The most selfish autonomie is Catalonia, a spanish province since 1492, it is a developed province of Spain, because Spain ever help it giving money. Finally, i'd like to remember that Catalonia is Spain.Spain is a very developed country.
None. As India was country of Indians, those days. Congress made it country of Hindus, Muslims, chritians and even of Sikhs or Jains or Buddhists etc. due to its selfish cause to rule India.
To be selfish is a learned behavior beyond the ages of 2-4 years old. A 2 year old is often selfish because they have not developed enough to know the difference, but an adult who is selfish is learned behavior. They have learned in their life that if they want something or act a certain way they get what they want. This is often being selfish.
Americans are selfish and mean and because the indians had spoke different toung and americans thought the where animals insted of humans
Yes, English education enslaved us because it was introduced by British in India so that Indians may loose their self-esteem. It was for their own selfish reasons. It destroys our education system. They say that education is given best in regional languages. For example, China promotes Chinese language and they are a developed nation but Indians follow English and we are still developing.
Of coarse it is. that said, the international behavior of EVERY country is fundamentally selfish. Every country is out there acting in its own best interest. The US, because it has such a large economy, has interests in pretty much every other country in the world, which gives the US an awful lot of opportunity to appear selfish to the rest of the world. But ask yourself, would any other country act differently if in the US' position?
The superlative of selfish is "most selfish" and the comparative is "more selfish".
Gandhi was a man of values... Believed by so many indians & some people in the world. But the fact remains that Gandhi was a selfish.
most selfish, more selfish
One possible prefix for "selfish" is "un-", which would create the word "unselfish," meaning not selfish.
If she wants to be selfish, you can be selfish too.
The superlative degree of selfish is "most selfish", and the comparative degree is "more selfish".
