Some Italians are partly descendant of Islamic African (moors) settlers/invaders. There are reports that show Italians from Sicily have on average 10% African ancestry. Also, keep in mind that Rome, an empire headed in what is now modern day Italy, had people from all over the empire live there.
But genetics aside, Italians are just Italian; as the majority of its population has been homogenized. Culturally, they have very little in common with African cultures, and in the United States, Italian immigrants and their descendents are classified as Caucasian due to similar genetic and cultural traits with other Caucasians.

If you could explain your question a bit clearer,I might be able to help you. What exactly do you mean: Who Are Black Italians?do you mean:Who are the band Black Italians? Can you get Black Italians? Please get back to me!I have heard Sicilians referred to as "Black Italians"
Italians are generally considered to be Caucasians.
Hispanics are people of Spanish descent. Italians are not of Spanish descent. Therefore, Italians are not Hispanics. Italians may be classified as white, depending on what you consider white to mean. From a check-the-box perspective, Italians probably fall within the white/non-hispanic category.
yes Italians are very white....all the people that say otherwise are not educated....also Italians are indigenous to Europe so they ARE WHITE...also yes they are considered white by the Anglo Saxons
Italy is not in Africa. Any African Italians would be considered just that.
Because.
most of us are pissed of that some of us don't consider themselves as white. Italians are white. it is not uncommon to have blonde hair blue eyes and light skin. sicilians are not Italians.
Yes, of course Italians are western Europeans and are considered white (caucasian), even the swarthy ones. Historically many Italians who came to the United States were considered "off-white" or swarthy and often discriminated for their Catholic faith as well. However, first of all, not all Italians are dark haired, dark eyes. In fact, around half of all Italian in Italy according to a survey by Cavalli-Sforza has light eyes (blue, green, hazel) and that the majority of Italians (85%) do NOT have Black hair, but rather brown, and a blonde minority (10%).
While it is a common stereotype that Italian people have black hair, the reality is that hair color varies among individuals in Italy just like in any other country. Italians can have a range of hair colors, including black, brown, blonde, and red.
Of course not! His name was Socrates and not Socratise and he was just as the rest of the Greeks (be that ancient or modern) just white, like the rest of Europeans (Italians for example).
