Salmon hatches out of eggs swims out of river/lake to the ocean to another river. and restarts
they are both cause they are born in freshwater and then when they are big enough they swim to the ocean then when they spawn then go to the exact place they were born
Its a Fresh water fish, often found in streams and cold water. It also depends on the type of Salmon. Hope it helped!
no! The flat head goes in fresh water and salt water, so does the puffer fish... I think :)
Salmon lay there fish upstream so fresh water fish wont eat their eggs. Also because, salmon grow up in salt water environment.
One of the most common fish that can live in both salt and fresh water is a salmon:)
Some do- salmon spawn in fresh water but live mostly in the ocean. Most fish live in either one or the other, not both.
Many fish that do so, such as salmon, move between these environments at a slow pace. Many fish are adapted to live in either condition but that change can occur. Higher concentrations of salt would cause a freshwater fish to become dehydrated and eventually die. Fresh water would affect salt water fish by bloating. Water is used to balance the effects of salt but when salt water fish are introduced to fresh water quickly that balance is upset and thus, we have a high amount of water, bloating.
Don't most fish either live in salt water or fresh water? They adapted to one or the other.
Salmon, some trout such as rainbow, striped bass, shad, bull shark.
Marine fishing refers to fishing in the ocean/salt water. Some species of fish migrate from salt to fresh water like the salmon.
Fresh water
Not ALL fish do live in Salt water. There are plenty of "Fresh water" fish around....Wikipedia states that 41% of all known species of fish are found in freshwater. SO that means that ALL the rest are found in salt water.
Most species of salmon swim up river to lay their eggs.
