All of them... That's what "extinct" means. Although there are no known populations of gray wolves in South Dakota, that does not mean that gray wolves are extinct. There are gray wolves in other states, such as Minnesota which has the largest population of wolves. A successful reintroduction program has been done in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming.
It is extinct at UK, already bot not in the rest of the world. All kinds of animals extinct and made new, so it will be, also humans.
I hear scientists are trying to recover DNA from extinct animals (such as a species of mammoth) to clone them back from extinction. I imagine that could be done with extinct wolves (e.g. dire wolves), too, although I'm not sure how far along they are with the science. Apart from that, there's no helping an extinct animal since they are, after all, extinct.
Wolves in Mississippi are almost completely extinct, before colonialism most wolves in Mississippi were red wolves but now they are almost all gone. Most red wolves currently are in Texas and Louisiana. It's a shame but most wolves you hear about in Mississippi are simply coyotes.
No. All Mexican gray wolves are extinct on the wild. There are some 300 individuals on several facilities located in Mexico and the United States.
If the moose were to be excint, the population of wolves would be excint, then what ever eats the wolves would start to lose its population. All of the high level consumers would decrease as the level below them became extinct.
Hopefully never ever in all eternity! :)
Wolves have supposedly not been around since 1890, but many people including me believe that they are still alive and well all throughout northern, central, eastern, and western, NY. To many scientists wolves are not native to NY state. Hopefully Ny state will "reintroduct", if they haven't already, wolves into NY state.
In ancient times, Britain had abundant wildlife resources, like lynx, bears, wolves, wild boars etc. But none survived till the 18th century, except boars, who went extinct at the time. The animals now found, are all introduced from other continent, although some birds and ermines are considered to be native English animals.
Not all breeds are but the red wolf is. Did you know that wolves were once on the endangered list, but for now they are not. Red wolves are rare wild dogs and are in captivity. A few are now in the wild.
I have no idea... I'm asking the same thing...PEOPLE PLEASE ANSWER!there you go.^^
