I discovered a coach and we created a strategy for transitioning careers - resume, LinkedIn help, rebranding, interview prep. She was really great...definitely couldn't have made the move if I hadn't had her support.
So, yes, I think career coaches are worth the investment, but it helps to have a way of sourcing a coach rather than just cold-messaging coaches that you dig up on LinkedIn or on Google.
