no
No, everyone discriminates in one form or another, whether it be intentionally or unknowingly. Discrimination will always exist in one form or another, and humans will always hold some kind of bias or preferences over people.
Meningitis is a communicable disease that may spread to the environment if it would not be controlled and treated. If a certain person with this condition is left in the streets where he or she could be in contact with other people, then the disease can spread and can be a threat to the public health. Worst case scenario, like any other epidemic, stigma may occur in the society and where stigma is there is always discrimination and maybe violence in the society.
This is incorrect. If competition exists, then discrimination based on how good someone is at that particular competition will always exist. In terms of prejudiced or unwarranted discrimination, such as racism or sexism, then this would still exist long term depending on the society. If the majority of people in a society would prefer to buy something from people of a certain race, religion, or gender, then competition fuels the discrimination. In contemporary western society, there is little respect for discrimination, and so competition would indeed be enough to prevent official discrimination in the long run: If a company can profit from using workers of an ethnic minority, they will have the advantage over a company which refuses to do so.
In the USA, overt ILLEGAL discrimination in employment and housing has almost entirely disappeared. People still discriminate for good and effective reasons, like skill, personality, looks, intelligence, ability to learn. People always will.
No. It still exists in all populations, but it has been controled in more advanced countries
Dolphus avoids white society due to the racist attitudes and treatment he faces being biracial. He finds more acceptance and comfort in the black community, where he is able to be more himself without judgment. Dolphus likely avoids white society to protect himself from further discrimination and prejudice.
Lack of love and understanding that a man should be free to worship who or what they may. Lack of understanding for a persons freedom of choice. There will always be discrimination while men try to force others to do their bidding instead of letting them follow the dictates of their own hearts.
You can always use Google.
Revolution always leads to change
Is called positive discrimination......and it creates other problems....the best person should always get the job.
Some groups have been denied equal opportunities in the past. Discrimination against African-Americans has been very serious, and discrimination against women has also been a long established pattern based upon the presumption that women should have no role in society other than that of wives and mothers. So now, we live in a society that is trying to remedy those problems and to present equal opportunities to everyone, which is only fair. We do not always know the best way to accomplish that, however. So it is an issue.
no, and there never will be. People will always favour those closest to them over strangers.
