the komoto dragon

Dragons are a fairytale creature. There are however a large lizard creature that is named the Comoto Dragon. This lizards saliva is so full of germs that some say it is poisonous.

Ignore er number 1. Obviously they are idiots who don't believe in anything they haven't seen before.

Correction

It is spelled komodo dragon, and it is a type of monitor lizard. They are not poisonous, but their saliva contains so much Staphylococcus aureus bacteria that a bite will cause massive infection and death, due to necrotizing fasciitis, within an hour. Whether or not to believe in dragons, unicorns, fairies and such is up to you, but there is no empirical evidence of dragons.

The New York Sun famously ed Virginia O'Hanlon with, "Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus....", and there is no empirical evidence of Santa Claus, either.

Here's a link to that famous letter, you may find it either inspirational or insipid:

Yes, if you have ever seen the Komodo Dragon it is actually an ancestor of the dragons in the medieval ages although most aren't seen today we still have them in our time today and we should be happy that haven't gone extinct yet.
