False. Never click on a link in an email; it's likely to be a "phishing" scam.
It's true that "phishing"messages often do have misspellings or bad logos, but the spammers and hackers are getting better at making things look authentic.
Never click on a link in an email without checking it. Most mail programs will allow you to see where that link actually goes; for more safety, open your browser and type in the address manually.
"There are many, but the most popular legitimate (non-spam) company is Constant Contact. Note that they are certainly not the only legitimate company out there, but they are the most well-known and are relatively respected."
ADT customer service can be helpful depending on whether you write them an email or call them on the phone. The email you receive in return may be vague or ask you to call. If you call, you can always get someone who is having a bad day and simply not helpful.
DialAmerica phoned me and offered a renewal of my subscription to the Pastel Journal magazine. When I asked if my subscription was about to expire the salesman said "yes". So I accepted the offer and was sent a snail mail form to return with a check. I wrote to Pastel Journal and inquired whether this was a legitimate offer. The Journal has a page devoted to companies which are not legitimate and will scam you. The reply from PJ was: "Thank you for your email. DialAmerica is a third party agency that sell subscriptions to magazines. You may renew with them or you may renew directly with us." Sincerely Linda Mullins Customer Service " My only complain is that the salesman was untruthful and my subscription does not expire until 10 months later.
Yes, It is always benificial and efficient to have partner alliance with email marketing firms. The reason I say that is because constant contact will only help you with email campaigns but will not provide you with a database. If you use a email marketing company who not only does the campaign for you but also provides you with opt-in databases which you could use in the campaigns. If you have a database already you could enhance it with adding additional contacts from the data the company provides on a profit sharing basis.

Not necessarily. Email addresses ending with "us" and "info" are commonly used by legitimate organizations. However, like any email address, they can also be used for spam. It's always best to be cautious and verify the sender's identity before interacting with emails from unknown sources.
