DialAmerica phoned me and offered a renewal of my subscription to the Pastel Journal magazine. When I asked if my subscription was about to expire the salesman said "yes". So I accepted the offer and was sent a snail mail form to return with a check. I wrote to Pastel Journal and inquired whether this was a legitimate offer. The Journal has a page devoted to companies which are not legitimate and will scam you. The reply from PJ was: "Thank you for your email. DialAmerica is a third party agency that sell subscriptions to magazines. You may renew with them or you may renew directly with us." Sincerely Linda Mullins Customer Service " My only complain is that the salesman was untruthful and my subscription does not expire until 10 months later.
