If you are refering to salt water at the same rate of specific gravity as ocean water wich is about 1.022, Then you will definitely kill your goldfish, It will take between 1/2 and 5 hours. If your goldfish are sick or icky you can dip them in saltwater for about 15 seconds or so and that will actually help them,(possibly) this does not always help but it will not kill.
