Hankook Tires are made in South Korea.
Some excellent tires are made in S.Korea, - Hankook and Kumho for example.
They have plants in China, Korea, Japan, and Eastern Europe. I just purchased a set of Hankook Dynapro ATM 1 RF10 tires and "Made in China" is molded into the tire.
There are very few tires made in a 155/80R13 anymore, the few that are made are all off brand tires.

Aurora tires are made in South Korea by Hankook Tire company. They may be a very good tire but I would not buy them.
Mostly specialist tires made by relatively small manufacturers. I see many Mickey Thompson, Hoosier, Hankook and Goodyear Eagle tires at drag meets.
Achilles tires are made in Indonesia. I have no reports of how good or otherwise they are. With the exception of foreign brands with a solid rep like Hankook or Toyo, I would rather buy north American.
Roadhandler is a Sears brand tire. Sears does not make tires but instead farms out the production of their tires to different tire manufactures. The company that makes their tires may change from year to year. As of 2012-2013 the Roadhandler Touring tire is being made by Hankook Tire Company in South Korea. The Roadhandler Sport which will go on sale in mid 2013 and Sears has not said who will make this tire. It may or may not be Hankook.
They make tires in Japan, United States, China, Mexico, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, & Russia. Headquarters are in Japan.
Fisk tires are made by Fisk. This type of tire is not very popular in the United States, but they have been around since 1917.
Bridgestone/Firestone is the maker of Fuzion tires. Bridgestone/Firestone has factories all over the world, including the United States and Japan.
