A quad bike licence allows the same access to roads as a standard motorbike licence. Hence, yes you can use them on motorways if you are brave enough! I would recommend getting some decent insurance to cover this though.
yes you can mate because they are classed as small vehicles for eg car so yes they are ok
In my jurisdiction, ATVs are like tractors: They are legal to use offroad, but it is not legal to drive them on a public road without registration, except for crossing the road from one field to another.
Road signs on the motorways are blue with white writing.
I am unsure if Auto Insurance will cover ATVs on the road, or off road.
Tractors are allowed to travel on all UK roads EXCEPT motorways, and can be driven by 16 year olds.
you put tar on the road
As a general rule, ATVs are not street legal. However, there are some local city and county governments that will allow the machines to be on public streets and roads. Check with local officials to see if it is okay to ride on these public thoroughfares. Most ATVs are allowed on US Forest Service roads with an OHV sticker issued within the state that that particular road is located. For instance, in Colorado an ATV has to display a sticker issued annually by the Colorado State Parks. This allows for that particular quad to operate on forest service roads marked for ATV use within Colorado. If the trail or road is not marked for ATV use, then the vehicle is not allowed to operate on that pathway. The sticker does not allow for that vehicle to be operated in other states like Wyoming or Utah.
any kind of smaller car tires should work for Illinois other state regulations may varry

It means an 'A road', the country's main roads after the busiest, the Motorways.
ATVs are legal in Wyoming on designated public trails. The stipulation is that a machine must have an off-road vehicle registration permit which can be purchased for $15 at participating businesses throughout the state. This permit only allows the vehicle to be operated on certain public, forest service trails. It does not allow for it to be operated on most highways and county roads.
Generally, ATVs are not street legal in Colorado. There are only certain counties and towns in the state that do allow off road quads to be ridden on city and county roads. ATVs can be ridden on US Forest Service roads and trails with the purchase of an annual pass from the Colorado State Parks Department. The annual fee for the pass is $25.25.
because people cross the road more in built up areas but dont on motorways
