Roman Catholic isnt a race but a religion, or more specifically a denomination of Christianity. The Roman Catholic Church stems from the early church based in Rome, which eventually became the state religion of the western Roman Empire in the 4th century. So even though this denomination/church originates in rome, its adherents can be of any race. For example, most people in the Philippines are catholic but few have european or roman blood. There are also plenty of black catholics in africa as well.
