Are the license plate lights in the warning circuit for the brake lights of your 1986 Honda Prelude?
No, the license plate light is wired in with the rear tail lights, not the brake lights.
The dash lights and tail lights on a 1988 Honda Prelude are wired into the same circuit. Open, frayed, or burnt wires in any of the systems can the lights to ceased functioning. Check the number 13 10A fuse in the cabin fuse box, if blown take a spark testers and look for any shorts in the wiring.
Should be the same circuit for parking/tail/dash lights
The good news is the brake lights still appear to work even when this warning is displayed. Does anyone know if the brake lights are at risk of not coming on when you hit the brakes?
Why would driving lights not work and all warning lights in instrument cluster go off and on when driving in a 1997 Sunfire?
Sounds like a combination of: A short circuit in the driving light circuit, combined with a Auto resetting circuit breaker[instead of a fuse].
The license plate light fuse. It's a 10A fuse if I remember correctly. Sounds crazy, but I had no running lights and no lights other than warning lights on my instrument panel and it took me forever to figure it out. Apparently that whole circuit runs off of that one fuse. I have a 2000 Honda Accord, but I would assume it would be the same for a 1992.
An amber bulb warning light in a Fiat indicates that a lightbulb check needs to be conducted. In this situation, checking the headlights, tail lights, and license plate lights would be advisable.
Same circuit/fuse as the parking/tail lights.
Dash lights and tail tight inop on 93 suburban but the brake and turn signals work its not the fuse under the dash?
A short in the tail light circuit. Brake and turn are on another circuit. Dash light power is fed from the tail light fuse to the dimmer switch and on to the dash lights. Look for a short in the tail light wiring circuit. Also check the license plate light for a short as it is on the tail light circuit also. Had a car with blown fuse, traced the circuit for tail lights and… Read More

None of the dashboard lights work on my 1988 Prelude. Why?
Fuse panel cavity #8. Fuse is 5 amp and tan in colour. The circuits are as follows; fuel, voltage, oil and temp gauges. Chimes, warning lamp module, seat belt warning lights and mechanical cluster circuit board.

When a home circuit breaker opens the lights in some rooms go off but the lights in some rooms stay on. Explain why.?
The circuit breakers in a panelboard feed separate circuits. The lights that stay on are on a different circuit than the ones that go off. To fine the circuit that feeds the lights that stay on, go to the panelboard and turn off the breakers one by one until the lights go out. This is the circuit that feeds that circuit of lights. Remember that lights and receptacles can be on the same circuit together.
what mod? The only two I am aware of is the "sleepy eyes" which the lights only open half way or a conversion to the rare inx prelude front which removes the pop-up lights entirely.

Lights are on in closed circuit. It means that is a current flowing when circuit is being closed.
Lights are off when the circuit is open.
The warning lights are warning indicators meant to indicate something being wrong. When the lights turn red, it means it is in immediate need of attention.
can't believe someone asked this...but. usually the warning lights mean there is a problem with whatever warning light is showing.. the pictures of the warning lights are about as simple as can be for a preschooler to figure out.. sorry for the cynical answer.. but someone had to do it
See your owner's manual. All dash warning lights are described there.
Check the user manual it has illustration for all warning lights
What is the difference between parallel circuit lights and series circuit lights using the idea of current flow?
Parallel circuit lights are built as so: ______light_______ |_____light_______| |_____battery_____| Series circuit lights are built like this: ___light___light___battery___ |________________________| In a parallel circuit, lights don't get dimmer when you add more, and if one breaks, the others still work. In a series circuit, when you add more, the lights get dimmer, and when one breaks, they all break. It is possible to have a combination of both in one circuit though.
It is important to know the meanings behind the warning lights in a car. A description for a 1995 Fiat Punto warning lights can be found in the owners manual.

There are several warning lights on the dash board of a 1993 Toyota Camry. There is a hot water warning, a low voltage warning, a low fuel warning, and several others.
The warning lights on a 1988 Toyota Celica will usually mean that your engine is needing to be serviced. However, the warning lights can also mean that your brakes need to be serviced or repaired.
A parallel circuit can function with many breaks in the circuit like light switches for example. Some lights can be on and some can be off, on the same circuit. In a series circuit all lights would be on and if any switches were added in the circuit it would break the circuit turning all the lights off.
Sorry- the actual buzzer- I'm not sure. But it may help that imo the correct term should be "TAIL Light Warning Buzzer" It's wired in with the TAIL lights. The headlights are on a different circuit so they will work fine.

If you're talking about the headlight itself, and not the bulb, no it will not swap between a Fit and Prelude.
Yes you would use a serial circuit You would use parallel circuit lights for a Christmas tree because if you used series circuit lights, and one of the bulb blows, the rest of the bulbs will go out. But with parallel circuit lights, if one bulb blows the rest of the bulbs will remain their brightness.
If the 20 amp circuit is a dedicated light circuit with no outlets or any other lights on the circuit you can install up to 1920 watts of lighting. Using 60 watt track lights you could install up to 32 track lights. If there are other lights on the circuit deduct those.
To design a circuit so that lights can be turned on and off separately, we connect the circuit in parallel.
The warning lights on 2003 maxima can you tell me why when i hit my brakes a warning light on the dashboard lights up the warning light looks like a headlight?
it means that one of your brake lights are out .thats why it only lights up when you hit the brakes. once you replace it , the light will go off.
If you remove one bulb from a string of lights all the remaining lights will go out. are the lights in a series circuit or parallel circuit Explain?
Removing any bulb breaks the continuity of a series circuit, stopping the flow of electrical current. Removing a bulb in a parallel circuit does not interrupt the current flow, so the remaining lights continue to conduct electrical current.
