Yes. I'm not sure what those are exactly yet. I know there are because Dita Von Teese doesn't eat them in order to stay white.. Which is why I'm looking too.. Any foods with Canthaxanthin in it. ketchup, Ocean Spray cranberry juice, etc.
It's also found found naturally in foods such as: Mushrooms, eggs, fish.
Fish: Carp, Golden Mullet, Sea bream, Trush Wrasse, Pacific Salmon, Farm raised trout.
Canthaxanthin isn't exactly good for you. Google it.
Dr Oz (Dr featured on the Oprah show) says the lyopine found in tomato paste as well as watermelon help precent sunburns which I suppose will allow you to stay in the sun longer and therefore tan. Also I know there is something in pineapple and papaya that helps as well.
I don't think any food helps u tan its just sunlight remember you can still tan with sunscreen on. Don't tan in the sun with out sun screen on its bad for your skin and it can even damage your skin which makes it even harder to tan. Try tanning lotion too that's alright.

Dont go tanning, it causes skin cancer!
You should wear tanning lotion when on a tanning bed because these lotions that you buy at the salon help you absorb the tan better.

It is a total urban myth that ANY particular foods will help you grow in height.
Nope! Tanning lotions work by being activated by UV light, so whether your indoor tanning or outdoor tanning, you can still use a tanning lotion. Using a lotion specifically for tanning will dramatically help boost your color to get darker faster, plus it has a lot of vitamins and minerals to help prevent fine lines and wrinkles.
Lotions with cocoa butter can help with tanning. Products with shea butter mimics sunscreen.
Fruits, vegetables, and fish are foods that will help you lower your cholestrol because they don't have any in them.
