I've never heard of a "high cervix" but I suspect they mean you have a retroverted uterus. Uterus is tilted backwards towards the rectum instead of forward behind the bladder. Many years ago doctors thought it was difficult to get pregnant if you had this condition, but there is no evidence to support this. PAP smear can be difficult due to "high cervix" doctor has to look up toward the ceiling to find the cervix. This can cause pain with intercourse in certain positions since the penis bangs into the uterus with sex, if so just try a different position and tell your partner what hurts. Don't worry about it, but might want to mention it before each pelvic exam.
you drink a lot of ammonia and bleach, which is good for you.
Chlamydia won't make your cervix stay high.
It doesn't mean anything medically; it's just an observation that explains any difficulty that the examiner had in locating your cervix during the speculum exam. Having a longer-than-average ndistance from the opening of the vagina to the cervix, or having a uterus that leans to the back or to the front, will not affect your personal health.
my cervix is high soft and closed and I'm 5 weeks preg.
Your cervix should be low and firm. During ovulation with cervical musus the cervix is high and open and wet. After ovulation it is firm, low, and closed. If you are pregnant it will be high, soft, and closed.
Funneling is where you're cervix is thinning out and your cervix should be 3cm. I'm also having funneling that was noticed at 23w 4d and due to my cervix at 22w 4d6d high risk ob admitted me and placed a cerclage the next day. I'll be 25w25 tomorrow (9-6-12). My cervix was only 1.5cm and since cerclage, it has closed to 2.02cm. This is normal if you're in have your 9th month (36-40wks).
Usually the cervix is suspended just above the vaginal canal. A high cervix means that your uterus is placed high in the abdominal/pelvic cavity. During pregnancy, the cervix undergoes expected changes and becoming higher is one of them. These changes can occur at anytime during a pregnancy. I suggest you speak to your OB/Gyn for more information.
Hi, Not necessarily no.
for most women high and soft but some women already have a low lying cervix prior to falling pregnant. So High or Low & Soft.
if that is your case then you are pregnant
you havent had sex enough
yes you could be or have a yeast infection that's gone deep into your vaginal area or be appraoching ovulation or your period. this can sometimes cause your cervix to be high.
Your cervix changes throughout the month... High and hard right after period, changing to low and soft while near ovulation and then returning to high and hard before period....
There is only one symptom of obesity and that is having an extreme amount of fat for your height. Obese persons usually suffer other health problems such as high blood pressure and diabetes. It is a very serious medical condition.
Sounds like sexual arousal.
The cervix has no bearing on early symptoms of pregnancy; you are confusing facts about what happens to the cervix during labor. The cervix always feels "hard" except in labor. The best determiner of pregnancy is HPT or a blood test which both look for a rise in hormones.
When a woman has a high cervix, it means that the uterus is placed high in the pelvic cavity. This will not interfere with becoming pregnant though.
Heart problems cause nape pain, specifically having high blood pressure.
You could be pregnant , usually after Ovulation your cervix is low hard ,and closed, but with pregnancy it's high soft ,and closed, and your having some pregnancy symptoms too, after you miss your period I would take a pregnancy test. hope this helped
