No Thanks for the "No" response. This is the same answer the Dodge dealer came up with here but another Dodge dealer said they regularly have to reset the car's computer and it costs about $90. I got this Neon without a radio. The dash was messed up from someone stealing the after market stereo. I bought a used radio from a salvage yard that came out of a 2004 Neon with the same wiring harness so all the wires would match up. When I connected the wiring harness to the radio, many idiot lights and a "no bus" showed up where the odometer is, as the car was running. I disconnect the radio and the lights go off. What I learned today was that the car the radio came out of had radio controls on the steering wheel but my car don't. There is a communication type wire that runs throughout the Neon that helps all components talk to each other. This wire runs through radios from cars with steering wheel radio controls. The solution was to just cut this communication wire and tape it off. It solved all my problems. It was the violet wire with a small colored (I forget what color) stripe. It was in position #14 on the radio's plug wires. It is the 3rd wire from the left side top row with the tab facing up.
as you know volkswagons have security systems on there radios all you have to do its take the radio out and replace it with a newer on if you want to install the old on you just need to remember the code for that radio
20% -- I would shut down this factory immediately and fix the problem because you are wasting a lot of money producing these radios.
Mostly Clarion, like the radios
Unless you set a security code and remember what it is the dealer is your only option because of security system radios are vehicle specific when installed at factory vehicle needs to be hooked up ro comp at dealer and reset (approx $100)
Factory radios do not have RCA jacks on them. Only after market radios have them for hooking up external amps.
Factory radios are made especially for certain vehicles and there fore mesh better with your cars system.

There are a number of professions in which it would be beneficial to have 2way radios. Professions such as police, ambulance and fire need them to relay information quickly. Also security workers would benefit from them.
The best place to purchase scanner radios would be on the internet from the Scanner Master website, The website allows you to choose the right scanner for your area for maximum safety, security and entertainment.
Signal interference, blocked signal, antenna problems or electrical faults.
If there is, I would assume the password to be 1234 or 0000. Check your car manual The factory radios have never used codes.
