Let us do some calculation. One sheet of A4 weigh about 5 gms. Presently world produces 400 Million Ton. Take 200 Million Ton on average for last 50 years making total paper produced as 10 Billion Ton. Let us assume only 50% remains in the system and balance is flushed, recycled, burned, landfilled or destroyed by other means. This leaves 5 Billion tons or 5,000, 000,000,000,000 gm. If each sheet weigh 5 gms than there are quadrillion sheets in the world.
