Using the Body Mass Index (BMI), the healthy weight range for someone who is 5' 1" tall is 44.4 - 59.8 kg which is equal to 97.7 -131.6 lb. 110 lb falls within the healthy weight range and if you can maintain this weight by eating normally and being active without constantly restricting food then this is your healthy weight. If you are measuring your body fat percentage then the appropriate percentage depends on your gender and fitness goals. According to the table below (from the American Council on Exercise) you are not fat unless your body fat percentage is 32% or more. (Since you gave your measurements I am assuming you are female!) {| ! width="33%" bgcolor="#ECECFF" align="left" | Classification ! width="33%" bgcolor="#ECECFF" align="middle" | Women (% fat) ! width="34%" bgcolor="#ECECFF" align="middle" | Men (% fat) ! width="33%" bgcolor="#ECECFF" align="left" | Essential Fat | 10-12% 2-4% ! width="33%" bgcolor="#ECECFF" align="left" | Athletes | 14-20% 6-13% ! width="33%" bgcolor="#ECECFF" align="left" | Fitness | 21-24% 14-17% ! width="33%" bgcolor="#ECECFF" align="left" | Acceptable | 25-31% 18-25% ! width="33%" bgcolor="#ECECFF" align="left" | Obese | 32% plus 25% plus |}
I have the exact measurements, but I weigh 120 lbs. It's average but not fat. I consider it to be voluptuous. To me, being 5'1'' also, it does seems fat but as long as you work out and tone your body at least 3 times a week, you will be looking like Kim Kardashian! She is 5'2'' and her measurements are fairly close with a fantastic body. Be proud of your curves and show them off!
Not necessarily. I'm 15 with the same measurements, but I'm skin and bones. The rule of thumb for women to know if the are fat is to take a part of your skin (flabbiest parts of the stomach or lower arm give better results) and basically just squeeze and pull (in more detail.) If your pulled skin is over an inch- 1/2 than you can be considered over your proper weight. I think if you can grab 3 or 4 inches than it is considered fat.
110 pounds = about 50 kilograms.
I'm 13, 5ft and I weigh a 110 pounds if that helps.
