∙ 11y ago- The bits of paper generally thrown at weddings is confetti, but many churches prefer this not be done because of the mess it leaves. Rice was also used, but now some people either don't use anything or all guests have bottle and bubble maker to blow bubbles instead of the confetti or rice throwing.
